80% of the population will suffer from back pain at some point. The drivers of back pain in women are quite different to men and the research shows that bladder control, bowel function and pelvic floor dysfunction are 3 of the main causes of back pain amongst women.  94% of women with back pain have pelvic floor dysfunction. 


This 6-week course will cover the factors stated above along with getting you to love and respect the entire length of your spine – all 33 vertebrae! 

You will be taught how to keep all areas of your spine moving and active, strengthening exercises to support your back, breathing techniques that will help to mobilise your ribs and therefore the middle part of your spine, exercise to improve your pelvic floor activity and techniques to reduce the stress in your body which in turn will increase the amount of pain you feel.


All of this will be accompanied by full support from myself throughout the 6 weeks, printed exercise instructions and videos of all the exercises to help you get going with the movements which will then become part of your daily routine.

  • How long is the course?

    The course is 6 weekly one-hour sessions currently running over zoom.

  • Will I need any equipment?

    2 Tennis Balls or similar, a hand towel, exercise mat or lying on carpet would be ok.

  • Will I get exercises to do at home?

    Yes, The course will equip you with a variety of exercises that you will be able to do at any time during the day at home.  To keep on top of back pain it is advisable to exercise regularly so doing some exercise every day is a good thing.  Once you get going with them they will become part of your routine.
